I was born in Kars in 1984. I hold a bachelor's degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Anadolu University and an associate degree in Brand Communication from the same university. Since 2004, I have been professionally involved in the media and communication industry. I have worked with various TV channels, advertising agencies, and project companies in the fields of press, media, and advertising. I took on the responsibilities of establishing, managing, training, and coordinating the creative departments during the setup of many state channels in Turkey, Iraq, and Turkmenistan.
Since 2018, I have been actively providing consultancy services to various organizations. Since 2022, I have been serving as a lecturer in Motion Graphics, Video, and 3D Animation at Beykoz University.
Let me share the story of my experience in the industry chronologically.
I started in the media sector in 2003 at Kanaltürk. Over 18 years, I took on various roles at many TV channels. In 2007, I was involved in the setup and broadcasting phases of ZTV, an educational channel under the umbrella of MediaSA, part of the Sabancı Group, led by Demet Sabancı and Bülent Gençtürk, and I served as the Editor-in-Chief. Due to taking on this role at the age of 22, I was featured in the second volume of the book "Successful Young People," edited by İbrahim Eryiğit, with an interview titled "Turkey's Youngest Editor-in-Chief."
I can say that we laid the foundation for the first paid online lesson videos (VOD/Streaming) broadcasting in Turkey. It was also a source of pride to have started this in the same year as Netflix. After that, I took on roles at Metus, Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club (BJK), and Akıllı TV, affiliated with TMSF.
In 2011, under the umbrella of Polimeks, I managed the integration, consultancy, and training process of real-time visuals in the largest TV Tower project of the last 30 years, located in Turkmenistan.
Between 2014 and 2020, I worked under Sahi Tech Company in Iraq, where I was involved in the setup and support work of Onair Graphics (Vizrt/Orad). I managed the setup, training, and delivery process of four TV channels.
Currently, I have been working as a Senior Specialist in Screen Graphics Consultancy under the General Secretariat at the state channel TRT since September 2020.
I attended the trainings organized by Kadir Has University and Solana Foundation in Turkey and passed the necessary exams and received the title of Certified Digital Asset Consultant.
I also provided consultancy in the blockchain field for one year to the Dexgame team, a Web3-based gaming and metaverse initiative.
I have been developing a social media project called PollenPost, which is based on the exchange of information/experience between consumers and brands, with a fantastic team for the past 2 years.
I am the founder of Zincir Sözlük, a project we initiated to create Turkish resources in the blockchain field.
I am also a lecturer in the Department of Communication and Design at Beykoz University.
